I remember when Mark McGough burst onto the scene and was going to be the best midfielder in a generation after one game.

Played a good game, but when teams really put attention into him it might be a bit different. Brisbane were very poor the other day

Yeah Mark mcgough got into the afl side by not playing well in the lead up games.....

I'm not saying he's no flash in the pan, just give him a few more games and a bit more attention before putting his name in lights

That's really sad given how long people have gone without physically going to games.
Tough for their administration to build success at those levels of attendance.

I have noticed when I check any news on the AFL they put a hell of a lot of AFLW on the sites.
I feel they are better promoting it on a separate site to give it it's own outlet.

It is a professional sport for women , but If I wanted to hear about it I would look for it - not it being pushed down your face stuck on the AFL.

It will also take many years even before it gets up to a standard of amateurs football and if I want to watch that standard of football I would rock up to the Forrestfield Bunyups on Sunday to do so.

I don't want to slag the AFLW because any game is a good game even the Bunyips , but could they direct all the news to a different site.

We were stagnating with him in the team, and moving on from players like him as been a significant part of resurgence. But at the same time, I'm wrapt to see him continue his career in a team where he can really contribute.
