Whether Brisbane kicked straight or not, that 1 incorrect decision directly cost them the game.

Less than 30 seconds left and a free kick which would give them a shot in the goal square. Nothing as clear as that.

Nope, doesn't pay all that well all things comparatively in the AFL and whilst it may come with the ego attachment of "yeah, that's a mark, I don't care if it grassed twice piss off mate my word is LAW!!" but the AFL need the dept to have integrity so that people believe the decisions made during a match.

They haven't given one iota of shit to date and nothing's going to change anytime soon.

Not entirely no, but you have 30 seconds fora shot on goal, there was just that amount and a clear HTB missed in D50 for the cats where literally any score splits points.

That non decision directly impacted seasonal points for both sides.

Keep in Mind given the respective draws both teams have it is much more valuable to have Geelong 0-2 than Brisbane. Winning tomorrow night is now not ideal - it’s imperative. Lose tomorrow and we’re back in the pack.

yeah they were 2.9 at 1 point, but did enough to lead with more shots, shouldn't be the reason they lost tho. Umps have a real problem with HTB, spin 360 and throw it out its play on, I remember back in the day when there was **** all tacking, and if you got spun 180 regardless of how you disposed of it and it was HTB. The lions player that got done for HTB had far less opportunity ( although he didn't flop around like a fish on the ground pretending he's trying), than the non call of a player trying to step around the tacklers and not correctly disposing of it.

Didn't watch much of the game, was following on the app. Can't really come to any conclusions after two games. Brisbane are staring down the barrel of 0-3 if the Pies can get up next week though. Season can quickly slip away. With the good sides from last year stumbling early we can really put ourselves in a strong position.

Every game seems like a must win for us this year. Think it's going to take 13 wins to make it this year, comp will be really even.
