Always knew we were gonna get reamed when I saw Goldspink named for our games.

I was outside the rooms at VFL Park one day when we got reamed by Goldspink i actually said in a calm manor is there any chance you will ever give us a go . He yelled out to a copper near by that he was being abused . That's all i said.
John Rantall told me once that we never had won a game with Kevin Smith as the ump .
I actually thought Matthew Head was fair . Also the umpiring in this years GF was pretty good.

Johnny Rantall was just an out and out champion. In his first season he was selected to rep Victoria in the Carnival. Think he was only 18.

Sadly the VFL/AFL's oldest living player Keith Rae has passed away . He played for Carlton and Richmond and served on HMAS Nestor which was sunk in WW2 . These people are real legends .

Even more so the stat you can and never will see - the frees that should have been given but weren't. These are the biggest killers.
