So what exactly is a non routine scan?
If the term non routine scan is never used, then why use the word routine at all!!!
Just call it what it is...... a scan!!

A "non-routine scan" would be an unplanned scan - say one conducted in response to an injury or re-injury during the rehab process.
"Routine" gives the reassurance that the scan was planned for - contrast this with Taylor's adductor injury that he kept re-bothering. Bet there were a few "non-routiners" along the way there.
