No but he is still on Richmond's list so they must see something. He is only 21yo so could be starting to hit the right age for talls.I liked him pre draft. He is quick.

I did too. Richmond have developed him as a defender, not that that should put us off.

Miller could be your bargain buy stuck behind established options, I remember him being quite a fast tall and a very handy marking player.

Played mostly ruck in colts. Tough, mobile, good hands. Nice kid too when he was at Subi (a mate was their runner).

Who was the WA ruckman we all wanted last year but Geelong picked him up, could package him and some picks for darcy if he wanted to go back home?
Geelong no longer need a ruck man. They have 3 developing on their list, one of which is Shannon Neale. They clearly prefer mobile, multi position rucks.

He destroyed Cripps in 2019. Why not pick up an extra midfielder in Clarke to help rotate with Brayshaw Cerra and Serong (Once Fyfe Mundy and Walters have retired)
Because he is terrible. There are heaps of blokes out there that can take down much better players. Banfield has done it numerous times.

Unless they are damaging offensively, nobody seems to use them and tagging aside, Clarke is terrible.

Apart from all of the other valid reasons given, we’ll need all of our collateral to get us some quality wings or forwards which we actually really, really need.

When you look at what Sydney have done recruiting Gulden at pick 32 and Chad at 39, it just goes to show that you can find some hidden gems outside the first round. The club choosing to trade for older players instead of hitting the draft has proved costly. We should have used the draft instead of trading for Conca, Coyer, Acres etc.

Conca was a free agent.

Colyer was traded for a fourth round pick.

Acres came as part of Hill trade.
