Not suggesting it's a weakness. Just that it's not the strength that's suggested.LOB has his weak points, but suggesting that his kicking is one of them is a bit of a stretch, to put it mildly.

Well in this scale senario AFL players start at 80, so if it was a scale of 1-20 in toughness O'brien is actually -1. The only person to get a lower score is Kane Lucas With a negative 4
Liam Jones is currently our highest ranked player at 19
Other notables
2020/ 2021 Marc Murphy - 3
Cripps - 18
Fog - 17
Doc - 17
I said nearly all of them and I think that Weitering is the best of the lot and he is below average in the league for kicking efficiency for his position so obviously it isn’t just me being biased. Yes LOB was poor but still kicked at an elite level in terms of efficiency % for his position in that game. Yes stupid stats I know but it puts some context into our perceptions. I don’t think I’m biased at all, I love Weitering and I don’t think LOB will make it but I still think he is a better kick then pretty much everyone in our side.I'm stunned. I haven't seen anything to suggest Lochie is a better kick than Weitering. Multiple times a game Weitering hits a flat 40 metre pass to a chest. 1 game in slippery weather and suddenly he's no good?
If you're going to use recency bias against Weiters heck the last time Lochie was seen on an AFL field he missed an un-pressured 15 metre pass by about 10 metres.

If you go back to LOBs draft year draft forums a lot of people were bringing up just how rare it is for someone with as low contested numbers as he had to actually succeed at a higher level. They also questioned that he was winning his possessions because of his athleticism. I guess it’s now possible at a higher level his opponents are much more closely matched athletically so he doesn’t get the same amount of room (not smart enough to find it) and his contested game hasn’t improved.
he looked a lot better then I expected when he first came in. I was actually really excited because I always thought he would be a slow burn and he started so well. Problem is he has seriously not looked like he has improved at all since his first season.
Boekhorst ??
Where do you rate?

Who are we wanting to pick up in the MSD?
For me it has to be a KPP, either up forward, in the ruck, or a defender. I feel all 3 areas are those of need.
Sam DeKoning would be a fantastic get...I meant when Jones retires in a few years, not right now.
At that time McKay could potentially be a great replacement because he would have experience by then. I would also think we would be well and truly in the premiership window and be an attractive club for players to want to come too.
My first choice would be Balta though![]()

As is suggesting his kicking is a strength until he produces it in games.LOB has his weak points, but suggesting that his kicking is one of them is a bit of a stretch, to put it mildly.
I think Geelong grabbed him a little earlier than what he was probably expected to go 25-30 range, just like his brother when he was expected to go possibly later on as well which has turned out to be a fantastic pick...Was hopeful on draft night for SDK.
Wonder if he was on our radar if Geelong hadn’t called him out the pick before? Could we have dropped Kemp down further, or was Geelong on the case there too.
16. C.Stephens
17. B.Kemp
18. M.Georgiades (would also be handy)
19. SDK
20. S.Philp

Not sure if permitted so delete if not please mods.
if we can’t get a ready to go key position, wouldn’t be against a ruck. 4 on the above list. Not sure if permitted so delete if not please mods.
eDPS early rating of overagers probably eligible for mid season draft
I thought he was signed until 2023?The Gov comes out of his large 750k per year contract at the end of this year. No wonder we are throwing up a similar 750k for Cerra. Cap will be in a good space! Get the kid in !!
In that case, he's in trouble.
Reported on SEN tonight. End of 2021. Lets hope its not 2023I thought he was signed until 2023?
