Dangerfield is a shocking field kick at times. He can make it just needs confidence and the physical ability to do so.Stop this right now
Dows kicking is absolutely dreadful and there is no fixing it, he can't play AFL

MM is a very unique player, has some freakish traits, think I saw he clocked the 2nd highest max speed of any player in the league this year, which is staggering given he’s body type, he’s kicking is very good, he’s dual sided and is one of the best kicks we have.
If we could get Harry Charlie and MM on the park together, we just might have enough fire power to play this run gun brand of football.
That was probably when he blitzed his hamstring...
Agreed, to have those 3 forwards actually playing together would add another dimension & improvement to us, could we even have a high functioning forward line if the stars align.

Weitering, Walsh and Harry are vital. Why would we delist Newman??
He's only played 4 games after returning from a serious knee injury, and already averages 19 touches (at 76% efficiency), 5 rebound 50s, 4 tackles, 2 intercept marks, 7 intercept possessions, and over 300m gained per game.
I think he's vital to our team and structurally allows Doc/Saad to play up on a wing, or Stocker in the midfield too (when Plow comes back in).
In regards to the rest of your list, Cripps isn't going to be traded, and I would be holding off trading SPS/LOB if we can.
There's no right or wrong line up, but I personally think Newman is too good as VFL depth. Plus, if we'd play him in the back 7 it frees up Doc or Saad up onto a wing. I guess we all have different opinions.Personally some time this year I’d like to see a back 6+1 of Weitering, Jones, Kemp, Plow, Doc, Williams and Saad.
Personally, I would love for Daicos to slide to our pick... and we grab him... just for the Collingwood malts as the son of their favourite sun runs out for his childhood club... and the club that his dad apparently secretly barracks forYup especially in the top 7 or 8 there’s several high quality goal kicking midfielders, Jason Horne 1st pick will be a great midfielder, Roberts , Johnson, Rachele, Daicos, Sonie, Sinn, list goes on , plenty of classy, midfielder potential. The only upside to our misery is, we should be able to snare a future gun.
I'm sorry... what! Ben was originally a defender when they were both playing high school football and local u17s football. Then Harry went up to TAC cup level, and their local club swung Ben forward in the hope of making him a forward. He does actually make a pretty reasonable forward, but he is at heart a defender and that's what your mob drafted him as.They wanted different destinations originally because they had the issue of both being slotted for the same positions, and therefore competing with each other.
I can tell you that it's not that way now, at least from Ben's perspective. There's a lot of arguments against any trade occurring, but not playing with each other is no longer one of them.
Spend $6mil on a Ruckman over 5 years and I would say you are taking a huge risk as Collingwood have found out. Don't believe there is one ruckman worth 1 mill per season.![]()
North Melbourne should make Harry McKay an offer he can’t refuse
Yes, they’ll have to pay him overs, but North Melbourne should launch a “godfather” offer at Carlton’s Harry McKay.www.theage.com.au
This has always worried me as a possibility.. and if i am list manager at North I would be doing exactly as Carey suggest throwing everything.. They can build a side and a culture on the back of the McKay's at each end of the ground.. would be a huge marketing boost and something to sell the members..
If it were to play out, North have the 1st pick in the PSD which no doubt cheapens his trade value.. and North will be reluctant to give up pick 1, and might have to accept a future 1st and some loose change.
Agree with you about trading to better our top ten position , but let’s not dream, Nick Dacios will be a Pie and what a superb footballer , an elite.Personally, I would love for Daicos to slide to our pick... and we grab him... just for the Collingwood malts as the son of their favourite sun runs out for his childhood club... and the club that his dad apparently secretly barracks for
But on a more serious note. Josh reckons that Nick is the better of the two and will be ready to play from round 1 next year. Looking at the photos of Nick training with Josh, he already has a good size on him and he's been working out hard in the gym to be ready for next year. If I was the list manager, I would be honestly looking at trading our first and second this year along with our second next year to move up in the top 10 to try and grab him.
That being said, if Freo come in for SPS, I wouldn't say no to either their first round pick or some wheeling and dealing that sees Cerra heading back our way or a 3 way deal to see at least 1 first round pick head our way if Cerra wants to go elsewhere.
I’d rather move Cripps than Harry, Patrick would at least facilitate the Cerra trade one would think, should Cripps have toSeems like the media are almost encouraging, barracking and cheering for us to lose Harry amongst others.
Their deep bias vitriolic hatred towards us has no barriers.
Wonder if you'd mind explaining the history of this "media hatred" of us you speak of. I know it doesn't exist, just interested in what your reasoning is?Seems like the media are almost encouraging, barracking and cheering for us to lose Harry amongst others.

I can dream if I want to… I want to see a Daicos wearing the colour they really love!Agree with you about trading to better our top ten position , but let’s not dream, Nick Dacios will be a Pie and what a superb footballer , an elite.
As for our top pick , Apart from Horne whom will be a kangaroo, I’d want either Roberts or Rachele both very talent.
Cerra is a priority too, but only if the youngster clearly wants to be a Bagger, and if we are able to mange his asking price.
Explain Slobbo, Caro, and Hutchie. And then there is Whateley and a few others out there.Wonder if you'd mind explaining the history of this "media hatred" of us you speak of. I know it doesn't exist, just interested in what your reasoning is?
explain what exactly?Explain Slobbo, Caro, and Hutchie. And then there is Whateley and a few others out there.
Their constant negative agenda against Carlton.explain what exactly?
It must be awesome to live in your perfect little world where bluebirds and butterflies come down to rest upon your shoulders and you right all the worlds wrongs with simple explanations.show me this negative agenda please? couple of things, I'm presuming you have been expecting the media to somehow speak positively about our 4 wins this season? and you call the media problematic - also, my original question which you so conveniently side-stepped was someone possibly explaining why there was this alleged discrimination against the worst performing club in the past 20 years - as in, when was it established, why, what is in it for the media and did you realize that every other club board says the same thing you are? that not a little destabilizing of your ridiculous conspiracy theories and paranoia?
Rather than give me your plaintiff cries from the dungeon, just back up your statement and answer the questions regarding this myth of media bias against Carlton. I'm desperate to hear it.It must be awesome to live in your perfect little world where bluebirds and butterflies come down to rest upon your shoulders and you right all the worlds wrongs with simple explanations.
I remember when you used to be happy to discuss football endlessly instead of trying to end everyone with sarcasm and bullshit. It’s a shame because I actually used to like that thy… you know... The guy that someone walked through a bushfire to find out if you were ok, with the rest of us hanging around with baited breath for news… even me, living in the UK was waiting for news you were ok.
