"I am Lion" is terrible.. I actually can't deal with that. The whole vibe and graphics are incredibly tack. The media / marketing team have been great for the last few years but this is a complete wipe out

This is what happens when you cut the top media guys off the team to save some money then the work experience intern has to quickly come up with a campaign the night before its due. Im sure that intern was watching Will Smith's I am Legend whilst working on the presentation.

It could've been tweaked. "I am Lion" sounds clunky. "We are Lions" is marginally better.

But overall the font is very childish.

Bit confused about memberships. I'm trying to 'upgrade' mine to a better section, but think I won't know the outcome for a while. Hope that doesn't mean my usual seats have been removed while my upgrade request is being considered.

Hi daz, did you ring up the membership department? I rang and asked them if I could change seats(wanted to keep my section 66 but move down a few rows) and the fella I was talking to had a look and advised me what seats were available in the area I wanted, I then had to go online and fill out the request, he said if the seats I requested were not available when they did the allocation I would RETAIN my previous seats.

Boh. I did not. I just requested via internet. Maybe I should try ring and ask early next week!

Just tried to update my credit card details (expiry date) following the Lions instructions. Used both PC & Mobile
It just keeps going in circles

(a) -Click "Update Details" from My Account Ticketmaster - This takes you direct to Invoice.
No where on this Invoice page to edit/change as stated in e-mail
The only place is under "Membership Details" dropdown box that has "Update Details"
When you click this it takes you back to (a) above
Sent them an e-mail. Will follow up vis phone Monday

Apparently you enter MyLions as a promo code when you make a booking and get up to 15% off. Not sure how genuine it is though. RACQ often seem to have Oaks deals going as well if you're a member

I've been through this process a few times in the last few years and always ended up been allocated the new seats. I guess it might be a little more difficult to do in coming years as the team is more successful and membership more popular

Don't get many games down here and no special seating bits, so it doesn't really matter.

Not a big deal as we were very lucky to get lots of Gabba games, more than expected.

My membership was -20% for next season. Or are you saying something on top of that? Tbh -20% is more than good enough for me given the industry as a whole is struggling.

The "I am Lion" campaign seems like a swing and a miss. Just reading the email from Fages and ending with the line "that's why I'm proud to say I am Lion"...

It just reads like I am lying - it looks weird in print and you would have to be a Shakespearean actor to be able to say the line with any kind of inflection and gravitas in any video content that would sound different.
