Most years I’d agree. Not this year. We had a year of “late bloomers” who missed their chance because of COVID. McEntee was the previous draft. And he played SANFL last year. In an equivalent national/rookie draft he is a very, very late pick, if he is picked at all.Most years I’d agree. Not this year. We don't get transfer fees when we lose our players. Another rule to screw us over.Funny thing is, they have until 30 June to do just that. They just have to offer those players something better than what they have whether it's money or opportunity, get SANFL permission and pay a transfer fee. It's been happening for a hundred years ffs.
