Looks very much like Assen is not a Ducati circuit.

Moto3 is brain dead.
Can you expand. ?? Haven’t been watching but will tune in for the races .

Almost the entire field left the pits for a final time attack at the end of the session and at least half the field got to the line too late to set a time.
Then, because they were in a big group, Acosta crashed on the last corner and got run over. Lucky not to be killed. And he shouldn't have even been in the group because he was one of the ones who was too late.
The free practice and qualifying setup for Moto3 needs to change.
You wouldn't see this at club race days. These Moto3 teams are bloody idiots. Just dumb.
They send them out of their pit box with less than 2 minutes to go and the riders can't get to the end of pit lane until 1:45 to go. A flying lap is 1:42-1:43 so they have to head straight out at qualifying pace - which they can't do - and so they miss out on a final time.
Joel's team did it to him in both FP3 and Q1 and it's cost him the opportunity to get into Q2. Absolute amateurs.
5 minute warning. Or less practice. It’s getting too complex . Rules fu**

The teams know the time left. They just need to use their brains.
But as an overall fix to prevent the total clusterfu** that is Moto3 practice and qualifying, I'd have the two as completely separate entities with practice having no bearing on qualifying standings. Then split the pack into 3 groups and each group has its own 4 or 5 minute qualifying session. Give them no time to piss about.
I do wonder whether he got caught by the yellow flags ?? Should've been 2nd row.Viñales with an amazing lap Grand pole position - in stark contrast to last week coming last.
Miller is f’ed. Has no pace.
Marquez is going to hurt himself again I reckon, he just can't help falling off.

So the big talk overnight is...
Viñales to leave Yamaha and ride for Aprilia next year!
