Suck sh*t Texas
And Texas are running away from the Big12 where they are a .500 team at best to move to the SEC where they will win like 3 games a year. did they look at Missouri and say "that looks fun to move conference and get beat most weeks"

Texas has been losing out on recruits to Texas A&M instate.

Texas are probably at their lowest right now. But in 5-10 years time, being THE name program in THE biggest football state in THE best conference. Their recruiting will go to another level, and they will improve to be contenders in the SEC West. (Especially once they move Alabama and Auburn to the East and bring Missou to the West)

NIL will help texas too. not many schools will be able to out pay them for recruits.

but if texas get beatdown again and again it will make some of the recruits rethink them. no one wants to lose badly everyweek when they have top 10 schools also offering them.

How not to defend on the last play long shot.
the deepest DB just tried to force him to the sideline from about 10yds away and was shocked when the WR cut it back. its not often you see a game winning long TD that easy.

Jacksonville St deserved to plant the flag on the FSU logo. and they took their time doing it.

based on how the rule of targeting is this was 100% correct. Even in the NFL you cant lower the head and launch into a player.

s**t rule, didn't target the head

sh*t rule, didn't target the head
you dont need to target the head or neck. thats just one of the 4 markers they look for along with lowering the head to make contact, launching or defenseless player.

If he got him a couple of inches higher it could of been catastrophic for both players.

The inconstant rulings of the rule are what piss most people off, but this was the right call based on what they want taken out of the game. But then you get into the debate about if it should be an ejection or what level of force is needed for an ejection [which is part of why the rule was changed to make it easier for the refs and all targeting calls are ejections. You always get some bad calls that are missed and some that feel harsh to be ejected for.
