he didn't wave he put his hand to the back of his head. that's how you do the high step
If thats all he did then thats unfair to fine. Meanwhile NFL sees no problem with targeting defenseless receivers (ravens vs raiders). NFL is very ****ed under Goodell lets be honest. Was so much better under Tagliabeau.

Frank Gore wants to be a boxer

Posted by Michael David Smith on September 19, 2021, 6:27 AM EDT

Although 38-year-old running back Frank Gore has not officially retired, he’s looking into a post-football career in boxing.

Gore told Ian Rapoport of NFL.com that boxing training is going well enough that he might be in the ring soon.

“I’ve been training for both — football and boxing,” Gore said. “I’ve always loved boxing, so that’s what I’ve been doing. And we’re trying to make a fight happen. If we do that, you’ll see me in the ring.”

Gore, who played for the Jets last year, is still open to a return to the NFL. But he said boxing has been a good challenge for him.

“I just fell in love with how hard it is,” Gore said. “I felt like ‘Man, I couldn’t fight.’ And I always like a challenge. So I kept doing it and doing it and I saw myself getting better and better.”
Boxing has recently seen a boom in fights involving retired athletes, celebrities and former fighters looking for another payday. Those fights don’t exactly make for great displays of boxing, but they have made some people some money. So it wouldn’t be surprising to see Gore put on the gloves some day soon.

Happy if 49ers sign him for one last season.

I am sure Gruden will encourage Jon Abrams to whack a Steelera receiver off the ball, and see what happens. If theres a flag and/or a fine by the league after the game, then Gruden may have a case against the NFL
Except for the little fact that Renfrow wasn't whacked off the ball ;)

should be first ballot, dont care what anyone says.

Nah, Hall of Fame may as well pack it in if they allow Hester in. Dudes played 11 seasons of which 4 might be exceptional

Would a RB or WR get to the HOF with 30+/- TDs?? No. Was he much of a difference maker? Minimal at best. More exciting than he was HOF worthy.

May as well send Trindon Holliday to Canton too...

of course he was a difference maker. The best returner who ever lived. Nobody has done what hes done.

Not sure if youre grasping how uncommon it is

Primetime says hi, and he could actually do something other than return

Sanders returning was part of his greatness. Im not saying he doesn't deserve to be in.

Sorry, bro, you are wrong, man...dude waved goodbye and didn't high step....punishable by death per new taunting rules....

what I was talking about Hester's return in the twitter vid you posted, he was given a taunting flag. Not Dre Greenlaw.

Yeah its rare, how much difference did he make really? they were maybe a .600 football team in his time there and made playoffs twice. And eve that was more on the back of the defense than anything.

Brian Mitchell was better too, and consistent over 10 years, if any returner should be HOF-worthy, that's the guy.

? You do know he played outside Atlanta right? Bears made the superbowl in Hester's rookie scoring 5 TDs on returns, and the opening kick off for a TD in the superbowl

The argument against seems based merely on the fact he isnt a two way player. But if Punters and Kickers can make the HOF, why cant return specialists? The epitome of a return specialist would be Hester, and he dominated that role more than any other two-way returned/WR/RB/CB did. As a returner he was the best at it.

Brian Mitchell has a case to be a HOFer too because of his all-purpose yards which collectively rank all-time among the likes of the best specialist WRs and RBs.

Agreed. Brian Mitchell 2nd all time in All Purpose Yards, definitely worthy of the HoF, but I have no faith in the current HoF selection process. They've overlooked a lot of worthy players recently.
