Hope he is ok. but im sick of players launching into piles to give the other team a few extra bumps

It's weird the way the NFL has swung 180 degrees from being a merciless gladiator sport where players got injured (snapped legs, KO'd, etc) and nobody seemed to give a s**t, just cart 'em off and get on with the game... to the situation now where they have a prayer meeting on the field between 100 players & coaches and people shedding tears whenever someone gets a bit dusty from a hit or hurts their knee.

It's gone from one ridiculous extreme to another.
