Saw the below today. Not surprised at all. How is Chris Lee even allowed to ref Habs games.

Last year, a reddit user over on the Habs forum looked into Chris Lee's record of refereeing Habs games between 1999 and 2020 (25 000 games) and found that while Lee penalizes other teams 1% less than the average official, he penalizes the Habs almost 14% more.

Over the sans span, the Habs have won 44% of their games but only 36% when Lee is officiating.

Habs played really well and just like in Game 3 the dominant team lost in a close one. Caulfield with a clear breakaway could have put the game to bed midway through the 3rd, but it was not to be.

Back to Vegas in two days time. Enjoying the series no matter what happens...................

Lehner was great today.

Only blemish was getting beat by a breakaway.

Will be watching the Marchessault-Karlsson-Smith line in game 5, has been very average this series. If it doesnt lift Montreal still a big chance in the best of 3.

would have resulted in Montréal getting a 5 v 3 powerplay for 1:48 to start the 3rd period whilst 1-0 up.

The problem with the amount of s**t the refs are completely ignoring is it makes the ones they actually do call look really strange in comparison. Nosek / Edmondson can bury guys into the boards, Perry bleeding profusely from the face, but you call Suzuki for touching a guy on the arm with his stick?

I was really hyped for this playoffs series but then the Toronto thing happened and now the refs, I can't be bothered. Teams may as well ice 18 goons.
