Charlie tries hard, he just isn't great.

The rest of their forwards probably have more talent, but they pick and choose when to put the effort in

Fair enough.. but youā€™d think dons will want more than pick 60..

After their first rounder.. thats all that port have and they will also need picks to match a bid on burgoyne..

Where are they gonna get all these picks?.. they havent got much of value to trade out.. they would want to hold onto their valuable youngsters and their good older players are on the edge of the cliff and arent worth anything..

Dodo will probably ask for Wines.. straight swap!..
Good questions ......all these players Port supposedly chasing ...and not a lot of Draft assets

Cornes mentioned this morning, if Port don't make a GF in Hinkley's 10th year, his coaching career in all probability will be over

Can see Port selling the farm for a result next year ....they could use next years 1st

Which kills their squad long term

Signing Motlop doesnā€™t help them

Thatā€™s exactly the type of player you donā€™t pick for finals, you want to know what you are going to get
If at Motlop's age he's still "like a box of chocolates" .....then cut him loose & play a Fredericks

But these are the calls Clubs make when they're desperate for Finals success .....stick with mature players

So now that Melbourne are in the GF that moves Port into the top 5 for longest current grand final droughts.

1999 North Melbourne & Carlton
2001 Essendon
2004 Brisbane
2007 Port Adelaide

Given they're about to fall off the cliff, could a 20 year Grand Final drought be on the cards for Port?

Simon Goodwin is sick and will miss todays press conference. I'm sure it's not, but can you imagine the chaos if it turned out he was Covid +??

I'd be more concerned about where a Melbourne flag would put the Crows in terms of a premiership drought -

St Kilda
Carlton

Freo / GC / GWS

Then.. us, in 6th to bottom, yeah?

Did he catch Geelong's virus?

Port Supporters are saying on the port board that Dixon is worth pick 20 because he is the "heart and soul" of the powaaa... hilarious lol

From "bestist forwid in da AFL, bedda than Tex" to trade bait in the space of a few weeks.

I love the constant mental gymnastics that comes from that mob.
