To be fair I don't mind the Saturday twilight spot, you can go into the city early have some drinks and lunch or alternatively hit the Casino and have dinner and shots afterwards depending on how things go during the game.
Hit Sean's Kitchen. :thumbsu:

You can thank me later.

The game wasn't moved. The Crows article said 4:05pm when it was released this morning. It was the AFL article that was wrong, getting our game and the Bulldogs/Saints game the wrong way around.

Still, bloody annoying when they persist with floating fixtures, then bungle the announcements.

Just announce the rest of the season so people can plan their weekends, and to avoid bungles like this.

Do AFC and Port Power have contractual agreements to remain in the AFL for a set period? Could we see a change as soon as next year?

AFL own the trademarks to the brands.

There's no way we could form a breakaway competition, especially not as early as next season.

Correct.

If a breakaway competition had to form, it would be the Adelaide Croweaters and Port Powerpuffs as new teams.

What could happen in an ideal world, is the AFL forms a breakaway competition itself, but that would mean the culling of Victorian Clubs which is almost impossible to achieve.

True, the AFL should add Tassie, cull 5 of the Melbourne clubs, put them back into the VFL (so the diehards can still follow their team) up against Port Melbourne, Box Hill etc. and then setup a proper AFL reserves comp.

26 rounds play everyone twice, its so simple but then it would become a truly national competition not an expanded VFL so it will never happen

I know there is a few Cobra Kai junkies on here, so I will keep those of you up to date with the release of S4 expected in the 4th quarter of this year. Meaning, October, November or December.

Most likely IMO December.

Even got myself a cobra Kai hoodie lol

Did they just have a hole in their soft cap even after the forced reduction? Or are they going to be paying tax?
I don't think it'd be a full-time gig, so probably isn't costing a huge amount, even if they go into the tax.

Worsfold will be in regular contact with the coaching group and attend select games during the year in a mentorship capacity.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's just there on random gamedays to evaluate if Teague and his assistants know what they're doing.

I can tell them that
No

Rhylee West also would be in our best 22 and is only playing Magoo's because the Bulldogs Mids bat deeper than any other team

Nope. TV rights stand out as the biggest reason why that wouldn't happen.

Best you could hope for is the 4 nothing clubs in Victoria eventually being relocated into NSW/QLD/NZ.

Was mentioned on Twitter can we have Thursday night teams.

Whatever happened to that concept? Altered during Covid matches last year but things back to relative normality now.
How does anyone do their supercoach teams?

I wouldn't have thought TV rights would mind, two less games a week but 4 extra rounds, better quality matches (talent pool not as diluted) and the lowest interest (lowest rating) Vic sides dropped.

Not sure what would be hardest for the AFL if they ever got serious about a national comp, relocate teams or put them in back to the VFL.

What would the couple of diehard fans prefer? Continue watching their side run around locally or to be shipped off interstate and lose their identity.
