1. We have more members
2. We can pay our own bills and not rely on the AFL for handouts
3. We have won more AFL premierships
4. We won the the one showdown final, which was port's dream final
5. We won the Phil Walsh showdown match
6. We don't have to use tarps when we our team is struggling
