What is it with rockstars and short people? Ozzy had a midget he used to take on tour.

He showed up late, he drank… It got to me after a while,” Ozzy once said of ‘Ronnie’. “So, one night, when he wanted to get on the tour bus, I threw him in the luggage compartment. Somebody grabbed me and said: ‘What you’re doing is not only illegal but it’s inhumane.’ I lost it. I yelled: ‘He’s my ******* midget and I’ll ******* do what I want with him.'”
I've read about that. In the Ronnie James Dio years Sabbath got a midget.
So not to be outdone Ozzy went and got a midget too and called him Ronnie.

A funny story how Sabbath got a midget is because they got someone to make a replica of Stonehenge to put on stage.
But they stuffed up the measurements and it came out in miniature form.
So they got a midget to lower down onto the stage and dance around etc to make it look normal size.

Don't mind some Bowie. Love the Stooges, early Queen I like much more than later, and I'd rather have bamboo under the fingernails than listen to Elton John.
Yeah Iggy/Stooges is easily my favourite out of the lot.
Elton I've got a soft spot for me cause when my kids were little they used to make me put on Saturday all the time.
They went nuts over it.
Same as the Beatles.

I heard that. Someone got feet mixed up with inches, and it was completely the wrong size lol.

A funny Bill Ward story (there's so many Sabbath/Bill Ward stories) is that when Ian Gillan was in the band he accidentally rolled Ward's car down a hill and dinged it up.
It was some crappy Ford that he got for free.
So Bill Ward went down to the canal and drilled holes in Gillan's boat and he took it out the next morning and it sunk.

Don't worry, give it a day or so and Morrison will be in front of a camera for three seconds, then we'll have some hysterical outrage about how he "just doesn't get it". Obviously the "it" in question is never defined let alone proven. Aside from implied mindreading powers of course.
Will take more than a day to get this out of the news. Now 23 QC's have penned an open letter in opposition to this bill.

Victoria’s laws differ from NSW in another important way. Here, as the laws stand, there would be no cross-party parliamentary committee specifically designed to scrutinise pandemic orders – although parliamentary committees would be free to conduct inquiries.

Instead, there would be two oversight mechanisms: an independent panel appointed by the government – leading some critics to question its independence – and the cross-party Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee (SARC).

SARC, which scrutinises all bills that come before Victorian Parliament, will also consider new pandemic orders put in place by the government. But the proposed legislation limits the committee’s capacity to place limits on pandemic orders, according to Associate Professor William Partlett of the University of Melbourne’s law school.

SARC would have the ability to recommend pandemic orders be suspended, but the Minister could recommend to the Governor in Council the suspension be overturned.

“That’s essentially the minister overriding SARC, so SARC is then largely in an advisory position,” Mr Partlett said.

“The only way to disallow [orders] is if both houses of Parliament vote to disallow, which of course is not going to happen because the Minister is ultimately part of the government and the government controls the lower house.”

So in essence the only way to stop something done by the government with these new laws is they vote against them themselves
Yeah and pigs might fly.

Tomorrow is going to be a nice day. Nice day to head into the city, maybe the North end.
Can't your man ScoMo do something about this? If there was ever a time to intervene surely this is it?
Where is he?

Actually when I get home later, im gonna go for a walk- there's this massive house I spotted had a HUGE spider on the side of it. They've probably got some other cool decorations as well..
Is this the house in question, or is it just a popular decorating technique
