I think you'll find it's been considered a good idea at national cabinet level with preference now given to locking down early when there's mystery cases in the community. They don't want another NSW situation

SE Qld locked down with 1 case and that cluster has grown to 63 - hence the early calls now days

Edit - in Vic, there's 3 cases unlinked to the current outbreak. They're investigating those 3 to try and find the link in the hope they won't be mystery cases

Haha so accurate. If they are vaccinated why do they care if others aren't? It's a personal choice. Give it a bit of time though and watch the vaxxed turn on the unvaxxed. It's already kicking off in the US.
