We in the old days caught eels in the Yarrowee river 5 and 6 ft long at the bridge on the Meredith/Mt Mercer rd on rabbit liver after feeding the ferrets their reward, dropped some bunny's in the pool table one afternoon on the way home at Bruce Broadhurst's pub at Meredith netted the holes and dropped a ferret in he was a good sport Bruce,I knew him from his days at Black **** pub the Sale Yards.
