I kinda hate the new animation a bit. Like the 3D which everything for kids is nowadays.

There are TONS of very good cartoons intended for adults these days. My avatar comes from one of my favorites, Squidbillies. There's lots of good anime although I tend to favor the older stuff like Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop. Brak Show (spawned my handle), Rick and Morty, Archer, just a lot of entertaining material.

I know Dan's a fair narcissist but I don't think even he would believe that poll.
But I suppose you could believe those polls that always turn out to be wrong these days or have a look at the amount of people that showed up yesterday.

As to "the amount of people that showed up yesterday", well, it all depends which reported number you believe - I've seen "thousands", 10,000, 100,000, 200,000, 250,000, 450,000. Always bearing in mind of course that there is absolutely no possible way any of the people reporting numbers (with the exception of "thousands") has the foggiest idea of the real numbers.

I agree. You can't really tell. ABC will say 5000, SkyNews will say 500,000.
But there was a lot. I can only compare it to footy games for a reference.
Depending on what you believe, a poll or seeing a lot of people depends on if you think they'll lose or gain seats.

As a youngster I simply thought, 'yep, computer has been turned on' - get a few years older, watch the episode again and I understood that on a whole new level

PS, and this poll was taken after the Pandemic Bill deadlock.

The poll was of 1200 people, whom would’ve registered to be polled so previously politically engaged. The narrative has changed, majority of people are now politically engaged due to the pandemic. Given such, I don’t think you could read much into that poll at all one way another.. everything I hear is the complete opposite
