10 and 8 now.

Started it when eldest was 6 months, Great money not much of a social life.
Number 2 was born and I flew out 3 days later back to work.

And I was smart enough to quit to go home to help Missus,
other wise I would be like the 80 percent of the workforce on the site.
Onto my 2nd marriage or single.

Big thing I noticed out there is most of the people have massive loans, They buy huge houses, have jet skis, flash cars and think life is great. But the job doesn't last forever.

Yeah for sure. I did it before I had kids and still couldn't hack it for very long, and ended up with basically nothing really.

The Mental Health back then there wasn't much help, there was a new program started that was R U ok? which didn't get much of a run onsite to be honest. In my time I had 4 work colleagues not walk out of there Donger in the morning. I was in a camp with 500 and there would of been at least 80 more camps, some smaller, some heaps larger.

We had one bloke flog a truck. Drive 4 hours to Roma and get pissed. Next morning he drive it home to Adelaide, they could track it.
Funny thing halfway home he pulled over for a piss and got bogged, and the local coppers helped him out and off he went on his merry way
