The Pole House - Great Ocean Road Holidays

The Pole House - the most photographed house on the Great Ocean Road, and probably Australia!

Me and my mum, dad, aunt and uncle are going to get down there. My idea is stay one night at Kennett river (where Mum's from) and then 2-3 nights at AB.

Asians have taken over AB .

Still a good spot tho.

Foook hell Torquay is much bigger than I thought .
Some nice looking places in the new ish area.

They built those houses in snake infested sand...

I'd just go with 5-6 ppl to divvy up that price.

I dont even care re. beds. I'd just sleep on the floor.

If that's for the Pole House - you can go with one friend, it sleeps 2 with a max guest number of 2

Think you'll find they're also pretty strict on that - think that the care takers live very close if not next door

Interestingly, looking at reviews for it, they seem to either be 5* or 1* type thing - very "polarising" in terms of reviews

Yeah the pole house was max’s home. But not the pole house part, the other house further back. I’m not sure if the pole house was even built then? Not sure how old that part is.

The founders of Boost Juice had it, spent heaps and sold it for heaps. They’ve clearly got heaps!

I think the issue in terms of numbers is that it's not really been designed to cater to even a small group of friends

It's not really that big inside, and from what I've seen of the inside the bathroom which is the only separate area, and that's with only a partial wall

Just need to save up, buy it next time it's on the market and then change the accommodation rules

Do they give an IOU if they don't get to wash your car during the service?

Holden has done with me before - I've been given the option of waiting a little longer for it to be ready or collect it sooner and get a car wash voucher to come back another time

The walk from the car to the tap is much much much less than here.
