I remember last election I went down to the primary school to vote and cause of where I parked, I walked to the first building I saw I could enter & it was the little school building - no one lining up, so it straight in and all done in a matter of minutes

After I left I tried to find the sausage sizzle and it was only then that I noticed the main community hall was also being used and where the majority of people were lining up, and it was a decent line

Couldn't be bothered with the sausage sizzle by that stage due to the number of people i would have had to walk past

Yep. Have had many the Union argument on here. At least there's someone else on the good side now.

Ditto with me, my closest friend & ally at work is the site shop steward, & being there with him & the organiser, negotiating an EBA for eg, gives you an appreciation for how the bosses (our ones at least), truly view you as a worker & what you should be entitled too.....If they had it their way you’d ‘Live to work’ not ‘Work to live’, & in this day & age a work life balance has never been more important, especially for people’s mental health.

Do a postal vote, it’s so much easier.....Have done that ever since I turned 18 & it saves having to leave the house.

Did that once when my anxiety was bad. Have gone in to vote ever since though.
