Clicked unwatch when I copped a BS thread ban from Dictator Dan thread replying to someone inferring that Scomo has been lobbing metaphorical grenades to disrupt Andrews with his comments. Replied - also metaphorically - that hopefully some of these grenades blow Andrews legs off. Guess I ran into someone who doesn't understand a metaphor and took it literally.

Dullards board.

What about the immunocompromised that are unable to take the vaccine whatever reason? The odds of serious illness/death is much higher and to provide blanket protection we need high intakes of vaccinations. Something that won't be possible when people are refusing on off chances.

You say there's only a 3% chance of dying from covid but the odds of getting anything of note from the vaccine is probably like .3% if that (no stats don't quote).

How would you know. Less than a year of trials. Then less than a year since it was rolled out.
How do you know what the long term effects are?
The first point? For real, if their too immune comprised to take the vaccine they could get sick from nearly everything.

I've looked at a couple of the census jobs - one of them requires ya to have a lockable area of your house to store all the items; that's not really an option, but the other job is more feasible

Though I am tempted to move to Sorento and work in an ice-cream shop...$35 per hour sounds a decent wage

Ooh Larry di dar. I actually replaced about 1000 of those blue pavers out the front of SC and across the road. And concreted the 2 traffic Islands where they moved the traffic lights.
And worked on a high rise across the road and 2 in an alley way across.
Would be a top spot to work.

Then those people have to be super careful. Those same people could die from the flu. Even with heard immunity they are at risk. Life ain’t fair, but it is what it is for those people.

And there simply isn’t any evidence to see what effects the vaccine will have, beyond people being able to walk out the door and feel ok. I’m sure they thought thalidomide was safe for pregnant women , till the evidence started stacking up after a few years. It will take time to prove it is safe. Other people can be the guinea pigs.

Considering the usual amount of time to trial a vaccine is 10-15 years, what f**king scientist with any shred of integrity would tell you to get this.
