Among strong competition, close to the stupidest statement made there.

If you are proven to have lied, is it disproportionate, or unfair, to call them a 'lying cow'?

No evidence has been proffered, yet money has changed hands because someone expressed a mere opinion, without its context, or the original accusation, being proven at any level.

Don't forget though that the "lying cow" remark wasn't in relation to the alleged incident, but rather it was in reference to Brittany Higgins saying there was a lack of support from the Ministers Office following the alleged incident

The latter may have been easier to prove if there was a clear timeline of events & actions following the alleged incident & reports of said incident - things such as
- alleged incident happened Day X
- I reported it on Day Y
- I was moved to a new Ministers Office on Day Z
etc

I hadn't been to the pokies for 14 months or so,I dropped in yesterday arvo on the way home from Brisbane busting for a leak, through $20 in a machine and scored the $1000 jack pot, since not playing the slots I've had no need for a wallet and change to a phone card and cash case bloody useless for that kind of money off to buy a new wallet this morning,nice to know I haven't lost my touch.

But here she asks an accuser to provide one shred of evidence that piers morgan is racist, and she gets attacked for it. And then they use the “but it’s insinuated”, when they can’t provide even a tiny crumb of evidence. What absolute garbage.

These people are sick.

That wouldn't by the same show where Corey Feldman called Harvey Weinstein a peedo and sex pest and they all abused him and called him a liar to protect their careers?

Just looked it up. It was The View sorry. Same exact type of show.
All the way back in 2013 before all this Hollywood stuff came out, he exposed it back then on that show.
But they didn't believe him and accused him of damaging an entire industry.
Turns out he was right.
They probably all f**ked Weinstein and etc.
Then they took the episode off line so you couldn't see it.

And the job hunt resumes - though I'm not upset, left on my terms and happy to be out of that place

Think my car will also be happy as there was a small parking area off a rear lane - hit the side fence trying to get in this morning and then another fence getting out this afternoon

He gave me an "updated" contract - like my commencement date & when to return it by, but didn't really address the other questions such as meal breaks...apparently an official lunch breaks isn't a thing as the employer prefers staff to work through, though you can eat a sandwich at your desk

There was also feigned surprise about the broken chair which is apparently only 6 months old even though the other office member knew it was broken & informed me when I tried to adjust it, and mixed messages about the age of the desks

I told them it wasn't for me and offered to stay the rest of the week if they would like, and the reply 'what would you like to do' - so I said finish today and then all parties can start fresh tomorrow

He was trying to cry poor about being a small business owner, tight funds etc - When the new person starts in the office some stage shortishly, they will be the 4th office member this year. They also had a really poor filing system which meant I was able to see 4 offers of employment form 2017 & 2018, while they also had records showing 7/8 group certificates for the 2017/2018 financial period. Maybe he needs to ask why he has a high turn over of employees and address those issues rather than playing "poor me"

I remember being at a shithole place- but not for a job, for a Uni placement. Table tennis Victoria. Was just bizzare- no one was around in the office, I had NFI what they wanted me to do exactly. I ended up writing a letter, basically I was leaving and not coming back.
