I love my current at home desk chair - it came from Freedom, was like $200/$300 down to $50 on clearance and so comfortable

It's the padded seat, but a mesh covering other than the head rest area which is a vinyl - it's got really good back support and I can sit here for like 5/6 hours a day with no issues.

My fav thing about him complaining that the chair was apparently only 6 months old - if it's the one available at officeworks it has a 10yr warranty, so surely there's no outlay to have it replaced under warrant...unless he was just talking more sh*t

Yeah its actually not a "small issue"- you need to be comfortable at work. Especially if you are at the desk "24/7".. like for me, I was at my desk maybe an hour in the morning, 45min-1.5 hours during the day and half an hour max before I went home.
Different story for you and your job there

What a nice day - before I went to get a neck, shoulder and foot massage, followed that up with was trip to the bakery for lunch and now some TV watching

Forgot how good it feels after a foot massage

Had a buddy from the states give me a neck and shoulder massage once.

Problem was he was an ex-College wrestler.

Good was not how it felt.

The other night I was invited out for a night with the “girls.” I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, “I promise!”
Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and cuckooed 3 times.
Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed… 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals 12 cuckoos = MIDNIGHT!)
The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him “MIDNIGHT”… he didn’t seem pissed off in the least. Whew, I got away with that one!
Then he said “Honey, I think we need a new cuckoo clock.” When I asked him why, he said...
“Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said “oh shit," Cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted.

Neither membership cards not mobile memberships will aid in one getting into grounds this year either

Members have to redeem $0 ticket for each match, and it's that ticket which will grant you access to it game - I got an email last Friday advising me of my barcode & how to redeem a $0 ticket for our home matches

So essentially, this year the membership cards are there for aesthetics rather than practical value on match days
So when crowd restrictions are lifted, which McLachlan expects to be in weeks, walk-ups are out? How will it work for VFL games?

Not sure how many other AFL clubs have followed us, but the 3 I know haven't.

No idea on VFL, or what happens if/when restrictions get lifted but think it'll be a while before stadiums are back at 100% capacity - an issue to deal with should that eventuate

As for mobile ticketing, it isn't necessarily a club thing but rather it's the stadiums making those decisions - Marvel, MCG & GMHBA have been digital tickets for all events held over summer whether that be the cricket, soccer, AFLW and the preseason AFL matches

AAMI Stadium is also digital tickets, and is the only one I've seen who have advised they'll have tickets available for purchase at the stadium on match day should any still be available - but any pre-purchased will only be issued as digital tickets

Digital ticketing may be part of the stadiums covid safe plan requirements so they can be ticked off as being permitted to host events
