Got a printer. But forgot paper. But ripped out a page out of an exercise book and it worked fine.
49 bucks. Pretty good

Damn that sh*t was drilled into me at Hoyts. They buy a coke, offer a popcorn. They buy a popcorn and coke, upsell a choc top.
Like at the servo when I get a coffee they ask me if I want banana bread.
Even though they see me nearly every day and know that I don't want banana bread.

Yeah they have to, otherwise they get their asses kicked by management.

I got caught on 2 customer surveys iirc at Hoyts. One was lousy- didnt upsell, didnt do nothing hahaha got 33%. :tearsofjoy:

The other- I got 100%. (the whole team did that time)

Yeah I still can recall the day/date- the ******* day after Boxing day the 27th. One of the busiest ******* days for a cinema.
That sucks. I'd feel uncomfortable trying to upsell things to people that are bad for them.

Yeah sometimes you'd cop abuse from prick customers whinging about the prices.

Like stfu and bring your own food/snacks we're not stopping you. The policy was just no hot food, no cans and no glass bottles.

/most of the time tho ppl were generally ok about it.

Don't you love those customer surveys?

We get NPS surveys where people give a rating out of 10, and then give a comment or verbatim. A 9 or 10 is classed as a promoter, 6 to 8 is classed as a passive, and anything under 5 is classed as a detractor. Promoters are like a positive rating, passives are neutral and detractors are negative.

Anyway, I can still remember a survey I got 2 years ago where the customer gave me an 8, and their comment was "I don't give 10's." YOU COULD'VE STILL GIVEN ME A 9, YOU BASTARD! :P
 
My last call today was fun. Was having a 4-way conversation between myself, the customer, their financial counsellor and an interpreter.

Since there was an interpreter on the call, I had to read out all the scripting a sentence or two at a time so the interpreter could translate it to the customer before continuing. Got about three quarters of the way through the scripting before the interpreter got disconnected. Had to call him back so I could continue. The whole call ended up taking over an hour.
