Not the news anyone would have wanted - would this be the first covid death since Melbourne's lockdown last winter?
But these numbers don't make for good reading
also on their tweets:
- Thirty-two cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period and nine cases were in isolation for part of their infectious period. Thirty-three cases were infectious in the community, and three cases remain under investigation.
- There have been 566 locally acquired cases reported since 16 June 2021, when the first case in the Bondi cluster was reported.
A short sharp circuit breaker at the start of the Bondi cluster and they aren't looking at 566 locally acquired cases and a number that looks likely to reach 1000+. Instead they would have had a chance to keep it hopefully to double digit numbers and be on the way out of things rather than what looks like it's going to be a frustrating time for those in Sydney & NSW

no no... not Gladys fault now.. this is a serious health crisis that no one can fully control.
Of course... 3 months go it was negligence and stupidity when it was Dan Andrews problem.
