Haven't been in to Melbourne for 2 years. Been an MCC provisional member for 4 years and not been in. Pay the annual fee every year and wonder why I'm doing it. Realise it's purely for fear of wasting the 20 year wait for the privelege. Still pay.

Decide to actually get something from the membership and wait online to book tickets. Get level 2! How good is this?!

Wife and I go to the game, feel like imposters sitting in MCC on level 2............

One time in Melbourne, first time MCC, now an exposure site. That's it, I'm not leaving Geelong, shouldn't be an MCC member! That's what you get for wanting the privelege of MCC access.

Word of advice, avoid Melbourne like the plague it is.

Unless you wanna swap? Wouldn't mind hanging out in regional for a while..

Err, we locked down about the same time we both had single figure cases a month ago and recently had about a fortnight of zero cases while you still have folks roaming around infectious you imbecile.

I make it as a provisional member next in take and will pay the $$ to let it sit there and rot.

Waited since 05 to get in... not igivng it up now - but wanna see the Aussies and the Cats at the G from the members before i cark it.

there are people worse off than me - I want to come home for a bit for some person family reasons and stuff - but I at least have a job and roof here and arent facing a visa deadline or anything like that.

Is Sophie still in NSW?

She posted a photo of a very quiet Southbank a few days ago, so I assume she's back in Melbourne again.

The funny thing was as people were pointing out, the part of Southbank she took a photo of was of the opposite side of the Yarra to the CBD which would've been a lot busier.

Good to hear mate, my family was stuck here in Aussie when Covid first hit.

It was a nightmare to arrange flights back home but luckily it worked out in the end.
