I hope it’s close but I have a nagging feeling it might turn out to be a fizzer....The Chiefs & Mahomes are the kings of the NFL right now & for much of the season it looked as though it’d be the Packers or Saints make it from the NFC.....If the Bucs win this it will be Brady’s best achievement yet, which is saying something.

Yes he is, of that there is no question .....His record is unbelievable, but if he can win this one IMO it’s his best yet. Even Eli Manning who beat him twice with the Giants in Superbowls can’t do what Mahomes can.....But hey it’s sport & anything can happen, btw you seem like you definitely know your stuff.

It’s funny that basically everyone thinks that but Tom himself.. I remember seeing an interview with him a few years ago & he said he felt Peyton was the GOAT, at least in the era they played against each other 2000-2015.....But as you say 6 rings to 2 makes it Brady for sure.....Same as the NBA, if Lebron can win 2 more ( bloody hope he does ) than he’s got a much bigger claim to be the GOAT.

Rrrrr Peyton, he was the one who flogged Cam Newton, first year was a fan of Panthers...wish Cam had bought his A game then, all year played like a champ except in the Championship game. Ugh lol

Though Tom def is goat, he can successfully get any team to a SB match after this season it just shows.

The media on both sides have so much to answer for.

Most people are somewhere around the middle. The extremes are very small minorities, but thanks to ridiculous exaggeration are inflated as though they’re the majority.

What you're saying is correct but we should probably compare how both extremes got to where they are.

Right wing media mainly driven by Murdoch, has been there for years. After they pushed a very weak pro-iraq war message under Bush they lost a lot of mainstream voter trust and doubled down on the ones they kept. Trump steps into a genuine power vacuum then hands them the greatest gift ever when he creates the left wing media.

The 'left' wing media is created when trump gets out and starts talking like a 1930s fascist whether or not he actually believed any of it. He also directly harasses and shuts out media people he doesn't like. Then when the media react and start to point out that he looks like a bit of a fascist it becomes really easy for trump and right wing media to make that out to be ridiculous. The truth is that trump derangement syndrome was real, extremely undermining to any valid criticism of the President, and created intentionally by a President who was a genius at controlling the media.

It's astonishing that a President that basically achieved nothing gets to avoid any legitimate criticism because he destroyed legitimate media. It's as impressive as it is depressing

The thing that really gets me about this is that there Australians who are still on the bandwagon of a guy whose actions have been extremely undermining to Australian economic and defense interests.
