Id fact check that,I believe what she a said was more along the lines of LGBT teaching of children in schools was the work of the devil and not God.

She actually doesn't mention schools, but rather that the mind has been corrupted by the devil & then compares the situation to Hitler - none of it justifiable or appropriate and should be spoken out against:

I went searching for this quote specifically She added that transgender children were the work of “the devil". do you have a link that would influence my thoughts considerably or is that someone else's interpretation of what was said.

It's in multiple articles that have been published across recent years and a paraphrasing of the above article I posted - in particular the following 2 lines:

It's simply a case of not quoting 5/6 paragraphs everytime it's raised, but it's pretty clear what she's getting at from the longer quote and that she's identifying transgender thoughts as being due to the devil

I went to a non-denominational Christian high school, and obviously would go to church when the school did though I had no interest in any of it - my mum thought it would provide me with a well rounded education or something. I made some good friends, met some good teachers but probably could have got a better education elsewhere & upon reflection would have chosen a different school especially for years 10-12

The one thing the school did do well though was inclusivity - from what I saw there was no major issues with gay students (of which there was more than a few), including one guy who was a year below us but friends with one of my mates, and I had happened to go to primary school with him & knew him from the after school care program. He dropped out of high school to go learn hairdressing, but then decided that really wasn't for him and so he returned for VCE - as camp as camp, but didn't seem an issue at the school

I graduated 2001 - so that's a few years ago

Yeah I think there's a lot of families that would pull their kids out if a school had someone like her come and so an address. It's out of step even to people who are really quite conservative
