Don’t know why you took my comments about some americans thinking, that once trump was gone, all their problems would be solved, so personally though?

Even you would admit the problems are so much deeper than that.

You do realise that Trump so-called vaccination plan was beyond incompetent? Biden may not be able to solve the issue immediately ( i dont understand where you get the notion that he or anyone was claiming such a thing) but now the US is hitting decent daily vaccination levels that will eventually alleviate the pandemic which is what anyone could hope for.

Imagine if a company went into administration because of years of inherent failings but a month later you go "how come the company is profitable already?' That's basically your rambling right now.

It's not your fault man. You just made an observation on politics.
You didn't start Corona, create quarantine rules or decide that tennis players etc get to fly in here and some like Daz who needed to don't.
People are just upset. And fair enough.
It's easier to take it out on people who don't tow the line on every view than the actual people who create the rules.
Sometimes you've just got to let them and hope it makes them feel better and don't stress.

The staggering hypocrisy of allowing things like the tennis to proceed is what would piss most people off I would imagine. There's no way you could argue it's a necessity, and it can't be about the economy, because the same government gleefully torpedoed that for most of last year.

I've just returned from my Sat morning coffee with neighbours - it's one of those nice routines which started under covid and continued once restrictions started lifting, even with the coffee van no longer doing the rounds. Now we just make a coffee, tea or whatever one wishes to drink and depending on the whether we either meet in a neighbours garage or out the front under the tree

It's a nice way to start a Saturday and catch up on the events of the past week

Now, I'm probably going to do some job searching before watching the football this afternoon - not going to make the trip up to Collingwood to watch the gals, so will settle for watching it on tv

I don't like tennis but I can live with it TBH. Hypocrisy is just normal now. It's actually respected here.
But it is bloody shocking people can't get home, but famous people can come here.
Not great for the workers who have to look after them either.
