Can't remember if it was baseball or American football, but I read somewhere that even though a game is scheduled to last a few hours, if you cut out all the stops and starts, there's only about 15 minutes of actual action in the game itself.
American's are fans of American Football and as big as the following is in the NFL & for those teams, the following for college football I'd say is almost bigger - college sports is massive in America, and much like how supporting an AFL is passed down through the generations here, your college team is passed down through the generationsWe just didnt grow up with it tho- if we were Americans youd bet your ass youd be a NFL fan..
60 minutes of scheduled game time, and about 3 hours to play itCan't remember if it was baseball or American football, but I read somewhere that even though a game is scheduled to last a few hours, if you cut out all the stops and starts, there's only about 15 minutes of actual action in the game itself.
I wonder what the ratio for test cricket is...Can't remember if it was baseball or American football, but I read somewhere that even though a game is scheduled to last a few hours, if you cut out all the stops and starts, there's only about 15 minutes of actual action in the game itself.

Youre one to talk bogan

That sounds awesomeI've attended 1 NFL match and it was the last round of the regular season, San Fran vs Arizona (match at Candlestick Park), and the atmosphere was unlike anything I've been to
I went to the 95 GF and the 11 GF and in regards to atmosphere, the build up to the game, crowd energy etc, they were both tame in comparison to this regular season NFL match
The carpark and the tailgate was crazy, unlike what we have here and something I'm really glad to have been to
Attending a match is just an experience in itself
