Wow, commentators were saying the loser of this match will pocket a cool $850K, and by reaching the quarter final, No Name's ranking would've jumped from 200 to about 65, and if he wins he'll be in the top 50.
Will earn/win more money in this tournament then in the previous 11 years of his career

Was watching a bit of his presser at lunch, but turned it off when I saw him smirking while someone was asking him a question about it. And to think he did employ someone to teach him how to be more empathetic. The bloke has NFI.

I watched Grace Tame give her acceptance speech as Australian of the Year - she is a sexual assualt survivor & now advocate for others

While she is giving her speech and talking about her situation, tears coming down her face, ScottyFromMarketing is standing in the background with that default smirk on his face

It's his ****ing default expression and as you said, he has NFI

And others who just don't get it are those in the media behind headlines like this - this individual is wearing a garbage bag over their head to protect their privacy, something acknowledged in the headline but still they felt the need to do an article on it and post yet another photo rather than respect these peoples right to privacy

Maybe they did it to draw attention probably rang the Age themselves.

I know it was just for privacy etc. And it was their choice.
But f**k it's a bad look. Seriously.
A hoodie and sunnies and a mask would've been fine

Why would they wear a garbage bag over their heads then if they actually wanted the attention?

Well its the only way anyone would talk to that nebuliser guy.
I do find it weird that all 31 people wanted to wear garbage bags.
Like there wasn't even just one of them that went Nah, I'd prefer not wear a garbage bag on my head.

Can't believe I've been arguing with some nimrod on Twitter who believes since that staffer didn't ask for an investigation into the rape two years ago she doesn't have the right to ask for one now and that by revisiting it now the alleged offender is now the real victim. Some people truly are oxygen thieves.

She didnt even name him. How is he a victim?

Exactly. And if the investigation proves that nothing untoward happened, it would backfire massively on her as everyone knows who she is. I doubt that after this much time that she'd be making it up though.

Innocent until proven guilty, i get that.

But she is ****ing brave af.

Absolutely! She has a heap of courage to put herself out there like that. Full credit to her. :thumbsu:

That's the thing, majority didn't wear a garbage bag and it was actually appears to be only 1 or 2 from extended footage

The above photo which The Age used is the only one of anyone leaving the hotel wearing a garbage bag, while there's only been one photo from the transfer arrival at the other hotel and it's taken from the back, with the person wearing black meaning it may be the same person

Other footage has shown guests leaving the hotel without additional head coverings, such as the father carrying his toddler, no bags in sight

It's a case of the media making a big issue out of someone looking for their privacy - not even all 31 transfers

Edit: I've since seen your later post, and perception is often down to how things are (mis)reported in the media
