How about Sutton getting annoyed yesterday after this question:
An exchange between a reporter and CHO Brett Sutton
Yeah that's a bit much. Wonder why people don't trust them, and reporters want to ask questions when they pull this shit.At the same time though, this bit:
CHO: There will be people who continue to get sick and die. When you've got coverage of everyone over 65 years of age, that means you've reduced the risk across the population very substantially but there are literally thousands of individuals in hospitals as we speak in their 30s and 40s and 50s who are dying or who are desperately unwell.
According to the covidlive website - right this second - there are literally 0 individuals in either ICU or hospitals as we speak. That's not quite thousands.
Unless he's referencing what's happening overseas where that is the caseAt the same time though, this bit:

They shouldn't do that. We live on an island continent. The largest island continent in the world with a population of 25 million.Unless he's referencing what's happening overseas where that is the case
Ta. Yeah cheap rego would be good.I wonder how many times that sort of thing with the hotel transfer has happened but we just didn't previously hear about it
Good luck with Centrelink if you need to go through with the application
One thing for all folks is check out if your entitled to a low income health care card from Centrelink, especially if anyone has any medical costs which it can help cover

Fair nuts. I remember people back in school got to go there every year for thatNope
There's a few Government subsidies you could receive off your gas and electricity bills as well if you have a valid health care card. Works out to be roughly 17.5% of your usage and supply charges, less whatever discounts you're receiving from your utilities company. There's also a $250 credit you can have applied to your electricity account simply by registering at compare.energy.vic.gov.au.
Not to mention the utility relief grant scheme (URGS) where you can apply to receive up to $650 off your bills every 2 years (or $1300 if you only have electricity and not gas). Can even apply for that on your water as well. Amazing how many people who have a valid concession card in Victoria aren't aware of that.
