No surprises there. They will get smashed next election. The surprise is them thinking a change of leader will make one shred of difference. The whole party in this state is pathetically weak. Dan Andrews could have actually damaged his spinal cord, been paralysed and he would still beat them.

Urgh not this rubbish. Another yank term that is migrating here. How about these people using this term piss off and get citizenship in another country, so that it actually means something. Put your money where your mouth is.

My 'favourite' saying atm?

'your truth'.

Guess I'll find out tomorrow how supportive my employer is - this afternoon I gave them a 2-page letter and relevant attachments that I want addressed before I sign the employment contract I was given last week

Surely it's fairly reasonable to raise the following:
- the multiple incorrect dates in the contract (such as commencement date and when it needs to be returned by)
- clarity around the edited & nonsensical probation period
- the incorrect award of “Clarks private sector 2010"; though there is a "Clerks Private Sector 2020", even then I believe it should be the "Banking, Finance & Insurance award"
- clarity around meal breaks
- raised concerns over the inadequacy of what's meant to be my workstation; broken chair, unable to adjust the height of the monitor (or even use a monitor stand), the desks themselves are shit (look like they were put out for a hard rubbish collection) and putting 2 rectangular desks together doesn't mean they are suddenly able to function as a corner desk unit

Wondering how often in the past they've had an employee raise concerns over proposed contract or working conditions, because doesn't appear things have been updated for a few years

I smell a rat tread carefully.

I smell a rat tread carefully.

I am and that's why I'm not formally committing to anything

I'm thinking he didn't pay total attention to my resume because I clearly state under education that I've completed 'Occupational Health & Safety' studies (I was a HSR). So inadequate working environment isn't going to pass, and I'm already starting to feel the tightness & stiffness in the back from the poor desk setup

One thing that isn't stated though is that I've seen 2 EBA negotiations in previous employment, was a union delegates which involves study & learning about Fair Work awards versus EBA agreements etc - so I like to think I have some understanding of the workings behind those things

It's actually really poor form, Fred. The cap and car sticker aren't going to help anyone get into a ground. Has all the earmarks of a massive stuff-up.

Neither membership cards not mobile memberships will aid in one getting into grounds this year either

Members have to redeem $0 ticket for each match, and it's that ticket which will grant you access to it game - I got an email last Friday advising me of my barcode & how to redeem a $0 ticket for our home matches

So essentially, this year the membership cards are there for aesthetics rather than practical value on match days

Looking through job adverts, I'm wondering if these guys are a little eager, advertising a little late or just forgot what month we're in...

Office Administration Temp

Administration Assistant

ESP Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated administration assistant. Position commencing mid-late September for the right candidate.

When it comes to ESP, it wouldn't surprise me they don't know what month we are in.

When did it become unnecessary to prove your accusation, and have it accepted as 'your truth' without providing evidence to support it?
It’s just getting so out of hand.

I was reading this earlier. Im no real fan of sharon, cause she is involved in peddling woke bullshit on this joke of a tv show. But here she asks an accuser to provide one shred of evidence that piers morgan is racist, and she gets attacked for it. And then they use the “but it’s insinuated”, when they can’t provide even a tiny crumb of evidence. What absolute garbage.

These people are sick.

If you are proven to have lied, is it disproportionate, or unfair, to call them a 'lying cow'?

No evidence has been proffered, yet money has changed hands because someone expressed a mere opinion, without its context, or the original accusation, being proven at any level.

When lunatics starting thinking feelings were more important than evidence.

And legions of lobotomised cretins started going along with it.

Although I still think it's as much about revenge and retribution more than any notion of "justice".
