As was Bolton's in comparison with the Collingwood player who won the fan vote that week

It's a great summary for how truly stupid some things have become.

It wasn't that long ago Mark and Goal of the Day were generally agreed upon. Whoever the player was, whoever the club was. Sensibly fans had no part in it either, because they'd either vote for their own club or vote against someone they don't like. Good to see that lunacy isn't prevailing now.

There have been problems for a fair while though. Think it was 2007 when Aaron Edwards took clearly the best mark of the season but some genius decided finals didn't count. Just crazy.

the more of these induction units I complete, the more it just confirms that they're designed to ensure everyone passes regardless of how much attention one pays to the videos prior to the quiz/test at the end of each module

Which of the following waste management rules do you need to follow?
- Only drop small pieces of rubbish, make sure you bury rubbish where no one will find it
- Recycle wherever possible, separate construction waste into appropriate regulated and labeled bins (timber, metal, general)

You don't know how tempted I've been to give the clearly wrong answer some times...

What is the correct work attire to be worn when on site:

- Provided PPE, hi-vis, safety work boots, safety glasses, hard hats etc
- shorts, thongs, t-shirt and sunglasses when cutting items

You're lucky you don't have to watch the woolies surviving crime induction. They legit interviewd robbers and got them to say sorry on camera, blamed it on taking drugs.

Once at a John Holland level crossing they had a set of fake SWMS to sign on to and it said to walk on to the West Gate Bridge climb the barrier and jump off. Probably 2/3 of people signed on to it.

a good way to check who doesn't read things

The first series video I had to watch & answer questions on was around covid protocols, and part of it including an older guy talking about "their experience" at the supermarket & ultimately demonstrating how to wash ones hands

- person in front of them at self-serve was coughing & spluttering all over their hands & the machine and it wasn't cleaned between uses
- this guy apparently then used it and now that he's home he wants to ensure he does the hygienic thing of washing his hands before touching anything else

never mind that the potential things he's done between using the check-out & washing his hands includes:
- scanning & bagging his groceries
- touching the machine to trigger payment
- probably touching his wallet or phone to get his credit card or cash to pay for groceries, followed by putting that away
- maybe using a trolley to take stuff to his car
- touching his car door, maybe boot/rear door depending how he packed his car. The don't forget the seatbelt, ignition, gear stick, handbrake, steering wheel etc
- got home & got his house keys to open his front door
- then closed his front door, so touched the door handles on the inside & outside etc

So the whole point of the video is apparently about being safe, not touching your mouth, face or eye area after you've been sneezing/coughing or touching potentially contaminated surfaces etc

Now it's all good for this guy to go wash his hands & demonstrate how to do that, but unless he's then going to wash everything surface he touched from when he first put a finger on the checkout to when he washed his hands at home, isn't it kinda useless as the rest of those surfaces have all been contaminated

Good news, I just received an email from the club regarding Pet memberships.

Are we taking a “leaf” out of the Dawks book ?

I couldn't see what the bowl looked like.
But ill admit I actually did think about doing it for a minute. They should donate a percentage to the RSPCA or similar and I reckon I woulda pressed the button
