Look, I hate Trump as much as the next person, but this is just an example of social media misinformation.

These people have been so mentally damaged by trump, they still look for anything they can to get him. And he’s been out of office for nearly 6 months now. You’d swear he’s still president the way they talk about him.

Let's be honest, Trump still talks like he's the president and he's got followers who are counting down the days until he's reinstated

Also this notion that people on the left are the ones who "can't move on" from Trump is hilarious given that it's the American right-wing who spend all their time pathetically grovelling at the feet of the man who lost them the House, the Senate and the Oval Office within the space of four years. You'd think they'd abandon the cult worship of their cringeworthy own-the-libs Daddy after seeing him join Jimmy Carter in the One Term Presidents Club...but seemingly they can't bring themselves to do that.

The only reason any of us have to even think about Trump is because the right refuses to do any kind of introspection or self-criticism about the fact that they went completely insane and elevated an obviously illiberal con man to the most powerful position in the world. If anything they've doubled-down on the levels of servile, ignominious devotion to indulging his delusional fantasies in the aftermath of his defeat, which is astonishing really given they had every opportunity and reason in the world to divorce right-wing politics from his name after he lost election and thereafter disgraced himself in the way he handled that loss. It goes without saying that most people *want* to move on from the exhausting clown show that is Donald Trump, but at the same time, one has to recognise that it would be irresponsible to try to "ignore" him given that he's still basically the leader of the Republican Party and will almost certainly be their nominee in 2024. He hasn't suddenly reverted back to being some random apolitical ex-reality TV show guy since he left office.
