Or some right wing Grandpa buying it for his 12yo grandkid cause he thinks that's what kids like.
Everytime he comes around

"Oh yeah, ummm it's in the shop getting polished"
"Again??"

Is that a real thing? Or a joke?
It's a joke - it's from a Peta Credlin parody twitter account, which has a focus on taking the shit out of the real Credlin

True, but that could cover pretty much the entire media industry.

I'm not sure, other than Credlin, who from the media were recognised by the Queen's Birthday honors list? In any case, it was ostensibly her work in politics that she was recognised in receiving the award. For what its worth, unless someone has made a significant and sustained contribution to politics I don't care what side of politics they are on. They shouldn't get an award. But Credlin receiving one is as much a joke as say if Joel Fitzgibbon got one.

Clicked unwatch when I copped a BS thread ban from Dictator Dan thread replying to someone inferring that Scomo has been lobbing metaphorical grenades to disrupt Andrews with his comments. Replied - also metaphorically - that hopefully some of these grenades blow Andrews legs off. Guess I ran into someone who doesn't understand a metaphor and took it literally.

Dullards board.
I shit you not I got thread banned for my post of page 3 of this haha.

Does anyone else when on Facebook and looking at news type articles have a quick read to gain the idea of the article and then mock those who make comments where they clearly haven't read more than the headline or an assumption based on others comments?

There's one article i just had a quick read of which was about changing the idea of the school uniform to make it cheaper for parents/families - so rather than the summer, winter & sports uniforms, allow kids to wear the sports uniform everyday as that's often a cheaper uniform to buy. It's also got the added benefit of being more sports/activity friendly which can be better for girls because dresses & kilts/ skirts aren't necessarily the easiest things to run around or play in

Lost track of the number of comments saying it's crap, that uniforms should be kept as it keeps all equal, doesn't become about brands & peer pressure to wear certain cloths and that casual cloths days should be a minimum not the standard - I'm happy to mock those people and ask why they disagree with a uniform being worn everyday

Anyone see those spider webs in Gippsland? It's amazing
I'm sitting in the Brownlow Stand tonight - good thing is they have cup holders

The bad is that they're covered in spiderwebs
