Dan’s going great guns removing restrictions. At this rate we will be able to go out without needing a mask in 2026.

I worked a lazy 11 hour shift without breaks today, plus had an alloted 1 hour drive time (30 minutes each way between depot & site)

Not too upset at having no assigned shift tomorrow

That's what you get when the Premier painted herself into a corner bagging out Victoria's lockdowns that if she turned around 12 months later and did the same herself she'd look like a hypocrite.

Instead I'm not sure there's really an end in sight for them - extended by a week at this stage to go to 3 weeks but wouldn't be surprised if it was extended by another 2, 3 or 4. I hope it doesn't have to be extended by that long and they do get out of it sooner than later, but it's not looking likely considering what we've seen over the past 12 months

Just really feels like rather than learning from the mistakes of other states and also in regards to what's worked, NSW has been keen to run things their own way under the belief that they know what they're doing. But looking at things now (though I may have said it on previous occasions), it really feels like them not having more serious outbreaks/clusters from their previous quarantine breaches or issues with the international flight crews, has been more down to dumb luck than anything

I know its a No shit Sherlock thing, but it goes to show the right media was always about politics and agenda's and never about freedoms or any ideals etc.
Even SkyNews like lockdowns and are pushing vaccinations hard now.
Maybe someone should start telling these lefty commies to move to China?

People need to get their heads around the vaccine will never eliminate covid, nor will it stop people getting infected, nor passing it on, nor people still getting sick from covid even though they have been vaccinated. It reduces all those things, not eliminating them.

See so many people assume that as soon as they get vaccinated, they are completely immune from getting it, which is not the case at all.
