I only count one of those as a genuinely good KPF prospect.

JVR is probably best suited to playing as a third tall defender at AFL level. I believe he would struggle playing forward.

I believe it’s long odds Williams makes it at afl level.
Interesting thoughts on Williams I think he differently has the tools to make it at AFL level

Pick 70 Jase Burgoyne
Height: 185cm Wgt: 64kg

Reasoning: On a needs basis I would like a ruck here but I dont feel I can justify any that remain on the table. Decided to go with Burgoyne because although light and very outside, I always thing the combination of good agility, a bit of speed and generally good kicking skills can be made to work in a range of positions.

There are a couple of others I have around this mark, so will see if Arr0w takes either.
Burgoyne will be bid on / matched by Port prior to this……… they are keen to bring him in as F/S.

A great read and good fun.

What i dont get is people have GWS trading out of what is basically the fourth pick in the nd.

Here we have other clubs trading in to try and get that pick yet GWS will just trade it out!!!!!

Im not really with the thinking. They have pick 4 and it will go on most likely Callaghan and with their second pick which is currently pick 13? they can address the so called list weakness.

Its like people are saying they are desperate for talls when its just not true. They are not that desperate that they will give up a pick, a pick every one wants because they know a gun will be there.

Cmon heres a list of their talls and remember there is supposed to be a tall draft coming next year and they are not in such bad shape that they cant wait.

KPF: Himmelberg, Hogan, Sproule. and Ricciardi.Sproule is mature backup and Riccardi is a promising junior. If they want another there is a chance one of Amiss or JV-R gets to their second pick.

KPD: Taylor, Haynes, Davis, Keefe, Stein, Buckley, Idun. Again i think the eyes are going to get picked out of the mids and Andrew or Gibcus or even at a stretch they could reach for Bazzo here having taken potentially the best mid in the draft. Its not a short term need there is depth.

Ruck : Preuss, Flynn 24yr , Briggs 22yr.Maybe they will look at a mature ruckman somewhere.

Can do a very similar exercise for gcs as well. They could do with a mature ruckman as cover for Witts in the ruck. Imo they could do with a quality KPF but that could be resolved if Lukosius goes fwd.

Key Defenders Imo they have two real good solid citizens holding down the key posts in Ballard and Collins and Lukosius currently plays back there.

If thompson gets on the park he is great cover for injury in the short term and Burgess is a genuine swingman. They are not desperate and there is no reason why they cant wait till next year.

One area that is light on in Numbers is midfield i count just 12 genuine mids on gcs list and at their pick there are plenty of rated good ones available to em.

A 2022 OFFICIAL BIGFOOTY PHANTOM DRAFT should be on the way soon ? maybe a fun trial run now from posters before the final phantom draft closer to the draft day? Should try do more than 1 phantom draft just for fun.

Nah, bigfooty phantom drafts are cancelled

Don’t worry everyone. PM just wasn’t asked back. 🤫
It’s either a big footy riot if no bf phantom draft’s or chris25 and a few others step up ??? A phantom draft battle off to see who gets the closest to the correct order on draft night like maybe nightmare, pie4life and chris25 vs pm, Davo27 and someone else? just the main guys post phantom drafts with no write ups to make it easier.

I reckon the teams would have to be; PMBangers, Pie 4 Life, eDPS and ModernArtillery vs Chris25, Davo-27, Smythe and Bastyy, but it'd be a best of 3 series in which the Phantom Draft is just one leg, we could make it like a gameshow, with fireworks and crowds
