The suspension Treacy got was appropriate IMO. What rankled me is the non-alignment clause that sees him miss 4 weeks of the AFL season.

Wouldn't matter if the players were spread far and wide, as they were before, He would still get a five week suspension.
Surely common sense will prevail and the WAFC will stop the stupidity.But then again.....

He had a niggle today apparently. Guess we'll see how serious when they say who is playing for Peel.

But part of the reason their depth is so weak is because it's hard to keep mid-range players at the club when they know they'll be dropped for AFL players coming back.

Plus don't forget Peel had to pull their reserves from the comp last year once the alignment couldn't be fulfilled so that was their first game as a team in over a year.

Yeah for sure if the Covid situation allows our players to populate the team like they did last week.

I'm curious on how it will go. So out of the 21 peel players, the maximum amount of dockers per game in the regular season is 14?

Thats fine. Happy for the Peel players to be rotated.

Saying that if Freo get injuries early on it might be 10-12 dockers players a week. That means that's only 33-35 docker players playing each week.

Peel need to what East Perth did with the Eagles when Micah was coaching.

Get a solid 8-10 players.

Let the mid range players play country football to make some coin.

At most we'll have 9 playing for Peel this weekend. That includes Treacy who is suspended and 4 overcoming injuries (Sturt, Valente, O'Driscoll, Walker). Wilson, Duman, Chapman and Western the remaining four that might play.
