Didn't watch either of their games.

Don't have any worries about Daniher, but there is a not many options down back, while there are quite a few up forward.

Clarke JS a questionable. Daniher a yo-yo but great potential for huge $pike game/s.

Hep was an early candidate for mine but looks slow. Could be managed. Have my doubts on Dow (has a crack but poor foot skills) but prefer the younger option for ‘potential’. Impey should score ok running off HBF.

Lloyd will be No.1 defender.
Close call here but see bigger potential in Doc score wise.
Taranto potential breakout candidate. Butterz great player but may be inconsistent.

Bruhn low possession small forward heavily reliant on goals to score. Slow burner. Dunks role uncertain with Treloar back. Bont/Macrae pick of the dogs if you can afford it.

Very bullish on Zerrett this year. Leather poisoning most weeks and kicks more (and better than Piggy). Early to tell but more flow looking to suit outside game this year.
Having said that, Green has a bit of piggy about him and can occasionally push forward and kick a goal. GWS should be pushing serious games into him now.

I really like the POD and value that Williams provides, and I am only going for leagues so having him miss R1 doesn't really matter, but.....

I'm leaning towards Dow - he's been in the system long enough, it's time to perform - just look at his peers

AND the biggy...a big season would mean when he moves to another vic club at end of year it will be on seriously hefty terms.
If he has a huge season this needs to be the one.

I agree I feel Williams will be a top 5-10 defender with his midfield minutes at Carlton. Id need to see your defence to make a call
