nope, the opposite is true. You want losses that hurt where you matched your opponent but things just didn't go your way. Orvwhete you thought you'd turn up and just win. Great lesson learned.

This ain't that. I don't believe for a second the players turned up banking points. They didn't play like that. This match was woeful start to finish, having more of the ball doesn't mean you played better. We butchered it plain and simple. So many watershed moments which yes you can learn from the short term damage can be brutal. The mental side is tough to master and this can cause players to lose self-confidence in a way that last week's loss simply wouldn't have.

Life isn't a disney movie.

Not happy with losing, but given itsnot going to impact on our finals chances, moreso improve our draft picks, it's a weird feeling.

I'm more annoyed we are persisting playing Mackay & the $50K fine than losing, which is strange.
Pretty much sums it up.

The young guys largely shat the bed tonight, but when senior players aren't any better then that's kinda expected

More upset about my tipping. That's beer money at stake. 2nd time I tipped us all year ha ha

Weird feeling at the end of that game. Collingwood have nothing to gain from finishing at the bottom of the ladder (sans conspiracy to be rid of Buckley), while we maintain the chance at a good draft pick to target what we desperately need, a quality midfielder.

Or maybe I'm just numb to everything football, so these losses have become a big ol' case of what-else-did-you-expect.
On the bridge and on the train everyone is happy, having a good time, laughing, hitting up the Casino, and then there's me quitely seething and pissed that we can't execute a forward handball or hit a target in the last few seconds.

Are there some Crows fans who just don't care about results and just enjoy going to the footy?
Can they explain to me how they can be so unbothered about results?
Why they don't fall into a depressed state after each loss?
Are their lives outside of supporting a football team so amazing that results don't effect their mood for an entire week?

Have a fairly favorable draw with 5 fairly winnable games coming up. But it is really up to how the team approaches these games. Play nervy like today and we won't win another game for the rest of the season. Play with the belief that we did against Melbourne and we can grab a few more wins. One game I am looking forward to is R16 vs Brisbane. Let's just have fun guys and enjoy the challenge.

Years of the same thing you kind of just live with it. Kind of like a child that always let's you down, so when they tell you another idiotic thing they did you are just used to it

I've noticed it's become like that since the Adelaide Oval move, a lot more younger people around and treating it like an entree before they then go into the city.
There's still footy heads there but has a different vibe to West Lakes.

That's on Walker. So many easy missed shots... every Collingwood player nailed every single set shot. fu** the draft picks, I'm sick of losing to scum teams like this.
Hate losing as much as the next guy, but if we keep filling our team with later draft selections we’re gonna have another generation filled with good competitive teams, and that’s about it
