Meanwhile, first-year draftee Brayden Cook is aiming to be available for selection in Round Five of the AFL season after having a shoulder reconstruction last year.

Cal Twomey quick notes:

Harrison Jones: big chance for rd 1
Finlay Macrae: likely rd 1
Lachie Jones: impressive, but no spot(?)
NM: Powell earlier than Phillios
Braeden Campbell: a chance but not immediate
Heath Chapman: logjam, but has impressed
Highmore (role?): injuries might help his cause
Durdin, Chugg have impressed, genuine rd 1 chances
Sampson Ryan (Ric, RUC) has impressed, might get a chance (but likely not that early)
Grainger-Barass was in b side, outplayed by O'Brien
Thilthorpe nursed through preseason
Pedlar cautiously built up
Cox, Perkins, Reid: Cox v good in scratch match, Perkins had had an ankle, little behind but rounding into form
Rowe: going well but has a few in front of him
Brockman (Haw, small forward): a chance
Gould: not a lot heard about being in early mix
RCD: not a walk-up start, where vs Ross, Dow, Ralphsmith?
Bergman: wraps, but no spot currently
Mead: No spot
Flynn: Likely Mummy preferred early

I’d place all of Phillips, Lazarro, Powell, Ford, Spicer in the possibles for us. Any one of them could get early games.

Lazarro and Powell played in the probables side on Friday.

Lazarro is ahead of Phillips imo. He looks more comfortable when playing across half forward also.

What a load of bunkim .....as if he would know PS Training Form and team structures

Rowe: going well but has a few in front of him
Like who ?? ....he'll play R1

Flynn: Likely Mummy preferred early
35 this year ....Mummy struggled bigtime last year, he wouldn't have trained foot to the peddle this PS
might play a couple of games in a row, but guaranteed, GWS are scouring leagues for a replacement .....why oh why haven't they chased Majik ?

Pedlar cautiously built up
He's ready .....if he can backup a week later and put a good game against Port this week, he'll play R1
Irrespective, he'll get a lot of games in 2021

Braeden Campbell: a chance but not immediate
SYD are rebuilding ....of course they're going to get games into Campbell .....will it be 22 games, no .....but it'll be 10-12 games

NM: Powell earlier than Phillips
Laughable .....Phillips way more ready than Powell, who has some weight to put on

Pretty sure GWS has a full list, so there is no space to sign another player.

So, GWS would have seen themselves still contending, so they put all their eggs in the Preuss basket .....a basically untried Ruckman ....and a 35 YO that will struggle to string 3 games together

They must really rate Flynn

who is Ford - listed as a fwd - small, medium or tall?

Where's his best position Shulze?

Mature ager, I think he's about 24-25. Was previously on West Coast's list a few years ago but got cut due to injury and fitness issues. Played WAFL as a half forward rotating through the midfield last year, I don't remember the exact number but I remember reading that he averaged 110+ SC points. Lock. Just hope he gets the 102k starting price, but even if he doesn't I'm picking him.

If Alec Waterman gets picked up he's going straight into my side. Will walk into Essendon's 22.
+1 Just about won Claremont the granny off his own boot.
He's a big boy now too.
He's ready.

Edited now with GF stats.

If Leon Cameron goes with Mummy they should just sack him there and then. GWS are going nowhere.

Similar to Archie Perkins, similar role ......looking at his junior tapes, he's very impressive .....great mark

Apparently he dropped in the Draft due to inconsistency of effort as a main reason

Cameron should've been sacked years ago. The level of talent that GWS have squandered is staggering.
