strong Mail coming out of Wahgunyah is that they have a coach and the details will be finalised over the weekend.

Also taking a handful of players with him

Funny that I was told today they are close to folding

Interesting.
time will tell I guess.
On another note. Does anyone think DMB recruits push them into the 5.
if so who do they push out.
Would think early that too 3 will be
Chiltern
KSC
Yack.
Do DMB push Barny or Tall out of the 5?

If you look at this year 4th only dropped 2 games. I know it only went to round 11. Dederang won 5 games. If the recruits do set the world on fire, there will be a fair gap to their regulars I would have thought. Looked like they needed key position players this year, bigger bodies. Such a long break from rd11 to rd1 next year, sucks.

Bit of an exodus out to CDHBU is the whisper.
How many times can you try to rebuild before people say enough is enough?
Is the Cluster closer to fruition than we think?
Considering Corowa have recruited majority of their good players I'm guessing CDHBU have only taken scraps.

Wahgunyah president employs the Corowa Rutherglen coach, when your club is on their knee’s how could you let this happen being president, especially when none of the players going across are of a senior Ovens and Murray standard

If you look at the lack of premiership success or even finals success from Corowa, Rutherglen, CDHBU and Wahgunyah, in the past 20 years it seems absolutely crazy that something hasn’t being done.
they could field an incredibly powerful side in any league they went to.
seems backwards that it hasn’t happened yet!!

You’ll find most players in the district are open to the idea of an amalgamation. Its time for the old boys to put the ego’s aside and do what’s best for the future of football in the area
