It would be amazing to see the momentum from our finals run manifest in the membership numbers. I feel like 50,000 is just about a foregone conclusion with a combination of the dormant supporter base for the club, and the likely swathe of people desperate to get to the footy once we’re allowed, in Melbourne.

I wonder what the club has in mind for the previously mentioned ‘free upgrades’. They could go a long way to converting pledge members and other donators into game-attending members which would be huge (obviously not for membership numbers, but for the club’s image with larger crowds).

I just looked on saints.com.au and the packages seem very limited. Perhaps it’s a loading issue at the moment. But there was only reserved seating on level 2. I wonder if they simplified the packages in expectation that crowds will need to be staggered.

Looking at mine my GA home and away has been upgraded to a reserved bay home and away.

I'm guessing a GA home and away is 339. A standard GA is 230. A 3 game GA is 102.

AFLW membership is still 60.

What's a reserved bay?
I was thinking the same - people might hesitate to renew for a second year (potentially) without being able to attend games. Hopefully that won't be the case though.
That's my thinking. First year people are fine with it. Second they won't want to spend any money.

They might not have loaded everything up yet. There's nothing loaded in the support from home menu for instance.

A reserved bay is similar to what we had at Waverley on the Jackson side road of the ground. It’s a first in first served bay for Saints members. A reserved area but no reserved seats.

I think it might be difficult to get to anywhere near 50k . chairman or the Tzcar Dan won't let us out!!!!!!
We wont be getting 50k til there is a vaccine and until marvel is actually not a s**t place to go.

Japan is doing events but at max 40% capaicity and very spread out and have banned cheering.

How can u ban cheering?

With chairman Dan in charge we might get any sporting events till 2022.
We are in the ring of steel.

Is there any particular reason that the options on the website are extremely limited? No options for 3 game GA, 1st level reserved, etc

More packages and info will be made available over the next few weeks, still a lot of uncertainty around what 2021 will look like.

Our good season was desparately needed. If we had another poor year, combined with the covid financial situation of the league, the media scrutiny on the club's position in the game would be through the roof. I feel for North fans. They're in a tough spot and they look set for an extended period in the wilderness with the state of their playing list. I'm glad they are in a good position debt wise now at least.

Touch wood, but if Victoria can exit lockdown well and keep cases down, it will help St Kilda a lot. We're better positioned than most Melbourne teams to maintain/grow on this year's membership levels. Our debt levels are seemingly pretty dire still, so we need to capitalise on our on field productivity.
