Apart from the official BF SC leagues, are there many friendly leagues?
Is there a thread somewhere that I've missed?

I wouldn't mind jumping in a few, especially those that we did well in previous years

7 DEFENDERS
Moore, Roughead, Howe, Quaynor, Maynard, Crisp, Noble, and Madgen are pretty much our top 8 defenders.
Only Madgen is not a certain Round 1 starter (all pending fitness of course).
7 MIDS
Grundy, Pendles, Sidey, JDG, Daicos, Adams (should be OK), Mayne (Bucks loves him), are certain for the mids.
5 FORWARDS
Cox, Elliott, Mihocek, Thomas, will all start forward.
One of WKelly or Ruscoe definitely starts, likely Kelly if he's fit.

That leaves only 3 spots from a large group.
WKelly/Ruscoe, Sier, WHE, Greenwood, TBrown, CBrown, Madgen etc
Then the rookies - Murphy/Bianco/Rantall/McCreery/Macrae/Chugg/OHenry/Wilson etc.

I would say TBrown and WHE will play, final spot will be up for grabs.

From an SC point of view, then Pies have a bucket full of rookies that will get games this year.
Problem is, our injury list is nearly non-existent at this stage.
Only Adams, Keane, and McIness are unlikely to be available vs Geelong this Friday, but all three should be available for round 1 selection.

I'm running the BFA promotion/relegation leagues again this year. The top four coaches (preliminary finalists) in each league at seasons end get promoted and the bottom four get relegated. I have 118 coaches from last year already allocated to leagues but if anyone else is interested in...

I was looking into your list

25 players with experience
3 players with 1-4 games (SC priced < $207k)
14 players with zero games (hmm seems like a lot Ned)

we should be getting lots of pies rookies through the season - 2 or 3 for Rd 1 would be nice

Went from having Rozee as F1 and Caldwell F2 to Sidebottom & Dunkley by downgrading a gun mid. Pretty happy with this

I think ive found close to my ideal team. Now i just have to have the will power to avoid looking at it every half an hour. Hopefully ive spent enough on rookies and i wont need to downgrade someone to get a better bench. 6 rookies on field is probably 1 more than what i thought id like but i dont think ill be adding any more midpricers to my team.

I think WKelly is OK, wasn't with small rehab group today. Let's see if he gets some gametime on Friday vs Cats. Playing 6 quarters apparently, so every player on both sides gets a decent hit-out.

Darcy Cameron is a back-up to first choice pair Grundy/Cox.
