We're going to climb the ladder in the second half of the season. It disgusts me that this scenario (and so missing out on Horne) makes me a bit disappointed.

A lot of this is useless info, but I find it particularly interesting for the rebuilding clubs (Adelaide, North, Hawthorn, Collingwood). Shows how we compare from an early draft perspective & how far behind Hawthorn are, who neglected the draft & traded in senior players to try and pinch another flag. Also good to see Brisbane under Noble.

Given how many of them are still around (in our case), probably need to exclude 2015 and 2016 from this list.

Hawthorn could quite easily win the next five spoons. They are in for a world of hurt.

l hope we do however out of GWS, Brisbane, Suns, Bulldogs, Eagles, Bombers, Carlton , Geelong, Richmond, Sydney, Adelaide, how many can we lock in as a certain win. Even the Suns, Carlton and Adelaide l cant say wins against them are certain wins and l cant see us winning against any of the other teams. Also remember that The Hawks and Pies would have to lose every game that they play. l still think we will finish last however will be a lot more competitive.

Hawks the only danger imo. Collingwood will probably have a bit of a bounce with the caretaker coach.

Plus they have close to zero incentive to lose - players will be playing for their careers (either there or elsewhere). Hawks a big danger.

SEN suggesting Jamara Ugle-Hagan disillusioned at the Dogs and may be gettable.

The only way I see us staying at the bottom and benefiting is by Noble and co being brutal when it comes to the 'process' which by the looks of it, they are.

That way we nuke any useless wins that drive that false sense of 'progress' that we've been accustomed to by finishing mid-table for the last 10 or so years.

There is a big difference between winning and succeeding...

"disillusioned" = Hasn't taken Bevo not gifting him games well?

Been a few whispers about JUH's behaviour, Bevo's opinion of it, and JUH's reaction to that.

Rumourmongering aside... He's a teenager in his first year on an AFL list. He wouldn't be the first or last kid to assume they can have both the glamourous party lifestyle and elite sportsman's life at the same time. Either way I'd take good odds that he matures sooner or later and goes on to have a handy career at the Dogs. I honestly doubt there is any actual serious disillusionment or that he's gettable, but if he IS gettable it's probably because there's a raging inferno causing the few whisps of smoke that the media have been putting out there. Personally though I think the current media whispers are only one part truth but two parts their own wet dream.
